Work.

8 out of 10 adults with an intellectual disability in Alabama is unemployed. The Everyday Sunshine Thrift Store provides employment, social skills and purpose for adults living with a disability. The store also serves as a work co-op for high school students in Decatur’s AIM Developmental Program. When you donate gently used items, you’re providing jobs to this community. Stuff = jobs.

Thank you !

Play.

1 in 4 people live with some form of a disability and the majority of playgrounds are not designed with these people in mind. We’re partnering up with GraceLife Church and the City of Decatur to build a space that embraces and celebrates people of every age and ability. The Everyday Sunshine Playpark is part of our mission to create an inclusive world where everyone plays together.

Let’s go play!

Watch.

Everyday Sunshine was founded to entertain children at pediatric hospitals and events for children with disabilities. With the help of many volunteers and supporters we’ve filmed a super silly TV show called “Woooo!” that will go out to all 235 pediatric hospitals in the U.S. and hundreds of chapters of The ARC when it’s completed. We’re currently in the editing process.
